About the role
- drive growth through the Microsoft ecosystem within the Manufacturing industry
- generating and closing professional services revenue aligned to Microsoft Applications, Data, and AI solutions
- lead pipeline generation efforts in collaboration with Microsoft field sellers
- develop and close complex services engagements
- position Huron as a preferred Microsoft partner for manufacturing digital transformation initiatives
- build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities
- identify, qualify, and advance new opportunities within the commercial sector
- conduct joint account planning sessions with Microsoft Account Executives, Industry Sellers, and Partner Development Managers
- lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations for professional services engagements
- present executive-ready solutions to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, COOs, and VP-level manufacturing leaders
- ensure alignment with Microsoft co-sell processes and program requirements to maximize engagement and visibility
- develop trusted relationships with Microsoft Account Executives, Industry sellers, Partner Development Managers, and Solution Specialists
- target mid-market and enterprise organizations undergoing digital transformation
- leverage case studies and industry credentials to accelerate proposal velocity and conversion rates
- provide accurate weekly pipeline reporting and revenue forecasts
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional services business development or consultative sales experience
- Demonstrated experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience selling Microsoft-related services (Azure, Dynamics 365, Data & AI, or Power Platform)
- Proven ability to build pipeline through partner channel collaboration
- Executive presence and strong communication skills
- Background in cloud modernization, ERP transformation, or AI initiatives (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft co-sell programs and Partner Center processes (preferred)
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment (preferred)
- Flexible living locations across US, role will require travel as needed
