About the role
- Provides support to one or more project managers to ensure standardized and consistent delivery across the entire public sector portfolio.
- Supports the entirety of the project life cycle, from launch to closeout.
- Run monthly burn rate reports and provide to project leadership
- Coordinate with billing teams to ensure invoices are accurate and compliant
- Review expense reports to ensure compliance with government and internal policies
- Support project resource forecast and contribution margin tracking
- Support project management activities
- Update project work plan and project management plan with direction from PM
- Develop/customize deliverable templates and work with delivery team to prepare deliverables as stated in client contract
- Schedule and attends internal team meetings, draft agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage internal team government background check activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams)
- Experience with Smartsheet preferred
- Ability to balance multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles in a virtual environment
- Ability to analyze data sets and create charts and graphs
- Ability to read and understand government contracts
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by the contract
