About the role

  • This associate will play a key role in supporting deliverables for active sales opportunities in the commercial industry, including proposals, RFP responses, and orals presentations.
  • Individuals in this role are expected to support our sellers, ranging from providing light advisory and project management support to full project management to complete the deliverable.
  • Individuals in this role will prioritize supporting our Southeast Asia market sellers, but could support other key regions (e.g., US, UK) if needed.
  • Lead sales development efforts, supporting multiple opportunities simultaneously by: Completing kick-off tasks, project management, and document development tasks, including but not limited to: creating the project development site, outlining the overall project plan, coordinating with opportunity teams, scheduling necessary meetings, and creating the initial outlines/templates.
  • Managing the development process, using strong project management skills and tools
  • Maintaining real-time status of all progress and outstanding tasks in all tools/technology and communicating proactively with all key stakeholders
  • Conducting research to understand client account and sales history, market, key stakeholders, and competitors
  • Pulling core base content to be put into the draft, such as Huron overview information, the approach section, project management questions, bios, project summaries), and appendix information.
  • Using AI and proposal/RFP technology to help create 1st drafts for contributors and other team members to edit.
  • Attending or facilitating opportunity meetings (as time zones allow) including, but not limited to, kick-off meetings, document review meetings, and subject matter expert interviews.
  • Supporting completion of the capture planning document with opportunity teams to define the value proposition, key benefits, features, and differentiators.
  • Assisting with graphic creation, editing, and formatting (e.g., aligning with Huron branding, template edits, graphic re-creation, sending to designers for complex new graphics).
  • Ensuring the opportunity team connects with all other required parties, such as legal, operations, and finance (as needed) either by connecting with departments directly or through US/Canada GETs.
  • Completing reference request permission processes.
  • Assisting with turning slides into an orals presentation outline/concept or transitioning to a new team member to create the presentation.
  • Following and promoting Huron-adopted industry-leading practices and sales development procedures.
  • Completing compliance checks to ensure adherence to client requirements.
  • Completing quality assurance (QA) reviews to finalize grammar, formatting, and Huron corporate brand guidelines.
  • Facilitating approval, sign-off, and delivery to the client by the specified deadline.
  • Assisting with maintaining Huron’s sales asset management system, Seismic, through the close-out process and regular maintenance tasks.
  • Completing advisory support requests, such as pulling proposal base content, previous submissions, and templates, and sending to requestors.
  • Enhancing current sales content through special projects, as needed.
  • Assisting with GET improvement initiatives outlined in GET’s annual plan, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant business experience
  • Consulting or sales enablement experience preferred
  • Proficient in written and oral English
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent effective working relationships
  • Strong proactive communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals of varying work styles
  • Expert attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks with deadlines that often require a quick turnaround across a team
