About the role
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business needs across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Leading commercial negotiations and contract development with suppliers.
- Optimizing total cost of ownership and drive annual productivity improvements.
- Ensuring products and process developments are based on secure, high-quality, and commercially viable sources
- Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify market trends, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities.
- Providing pricing forecasts, cost models, and insights to support strategic planning and stakeholder decision-making.
- Reporting raw material market intelligence and pricing updates to internal business teams.
- Drafting and managing specifications and contract requirements for service and raw material suppliers.
- Collaborating closely with internal business functions
- Supporting development of an integrated European supply chain to enhance EHS, quality, and customer service
- Managing a portfolio of purchasing programs with a focus on risk management, synergy creation, and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Education in Engineering/ Commercial
- 6+ years of experience in a commercial/purchasing role within an international context
- Ideally about 20 years of overall business experience
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Power BI and SAP is highly advantageous
