About the role

  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business needs across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and contract development with suppliers.
  • Optimizing total cost of ownership and drive annual productivity improvements.
  • Ensuring products and process developments are based on secure, high-quality, and commercially viable sources
  • Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to identify market trends, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Providing pricing forecasts, cost models, and insights to support strategic planning and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Reporting raw material market intelligence and pricing updates to internal business teams.
  • Drafting and managing specifications and contract requirements for service and raw material suppliers.
  • Collaborating closely with internal business functions
  • Supporting development of an integrated European supply chain to enhance EHS, quality, and customer service
  • Managing a portfolio of purchasing programs with a focus on risk management, synergy creation, and cost reduction.

Requirements

  • Education in Engineering/ Commercial
  • 6+ years of experience in a commercial/purchasing role within an international context
  • Ideally about 20 years of overall business experience
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Power BI and SAP is highly advantageous
