Backend Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain features and internal tools for the Huntress Managed Security Portal using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
• Translate acceptance criteria into functional workflows, data models, and clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with security researchers, platform engineers, and SOC analysts to deliver solutions that strengthen detection and response capabilities.
• Implement and refine data processing pipelines to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through thorough code reviews, automated and manual testing, and attention to performance and scalability.
• Contribute to team discussions on technical design, estimation, and continuous improvement of development practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and support.
