About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage the Leveraged Finance – Execution platform
Assist in setting policy and strategy
Oversee workflow and develop/mentor team members
Supervise team’s execution of financial sponsor and leveraged financing transactions
Manage due diligence and underwriting activities for major clients
Serve as senior escalation point for complex or high-profile transactions
Oversee deal screening, credit approvals, and client onboarding
Negotiate credit agreements and legal documentation
Partner with various teams to deliver competitive financing solutions
Work with Credit to manage portfolio credit risk
Stay updated on market developments in sponsor financing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 15 years of experience in Leveraged Finance
Comprehensive understanding of leveraged finance markets and trends
Experience in deal execution in time-sensitive situations
Historical & projected financial analysis
Risk identification & mitigation
Knowledge of legal and regulatory landscape for leveraged and sponsor lending
Demonstrated team leadership experience
Proven track record of managing high performing teams
Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or CFA preferred
Registered Series 7, 63 and/or 79
