About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and analyze all financial and business information to determine credit worthiness for loans.
- Prepare a written evaluation of borrowers' financial condition and future outlook.
- Identify strengths and risks associated with relationship sponsors and guarantors.
- Obtain and follow up on all required documents.
- Monitor financial reporting requirements and obtain and analyze financial and loan information.
- Collaborate on duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance
- Related internship/work experience in finance or banking preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor, required.
- Confidence, assertiveness, professionalism, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Successful completion of Huntington's Credit College (3 consecutive weeks in Columbus, Ohio) in a timeframe designated by management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet resources.
