About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all aspects of a Native American Financial Services (NAFS) credit portfolio of tribal clients
Support specialty area in a Commercial lending relationship
Originate, analyze, structure and execute commercial loan transactions
Deepen and retain assigned profitable customer relationships
Own primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks
Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio
Manage delinquencies, collateral exceptions, portfolio reviews, and specialized reporting
Maintain and confirm credit worthiness of customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
5 or more years of Commercial or Corporate Banking Portfolio Management experience including underwriting
Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics or other business-related field preferred
Prior experience in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex commercial loan transactions
Native American Financial Services, Government, Commercial Gaming, Healthcare, and/or General Non-Profit lending experience
Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn additional systems/software
Legal documentation experience
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Highly developed oral and written communications and presentation skills
