About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all aspects of a Native American Financial Services (NAFS) credit portfolio of tribal clients
Originate, analyze, structure and execute commercial loan transactions while meeting credit and regulatory requirements
Services, deepens, and retains assigned profitable customer relationships by evaluating and mitigating associated business risks
Owns primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks
Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio
Assists in optimizing customer relationships working directly with Relationship Managers and other team members
Manages delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base, portfolio reviews, etc.
Maintain and confirm credit worthiness of customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
8 or more years of related Commercial or Corporate Banking Portfolio Management experience including underwriting
Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics or other business-related field preferred
Prior experience in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex commercial loan transactions
Native American Financial Services, Government, Commercial Gaming, Healthcare, and/or General Non-Profit lending experience
Thorough knowledge of various software programs including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn additional systems/software
Legal documentation experience
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Highly developed oral and written communications and presentation skills
