About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor data activity using data protection and DLP technologies
Investigate and respond to data protection events and alerts
Support daily operations and maintenance of security and data protection technologies
Generate, analyze, and publish recurring and ad-hoc data protection metrics and operational reports
Perform health checks and validation to ensure supported security technologies are functioning as expected

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience (or military service training)
1+ years of related experience including IT (Cybersecurity, networking, etc)
Strong foundational analytical and problem-solving skills
Networking fundamentals
Secure communications (SSH, SSL/TLS)
Data privacy fundamentals
Understanding of personal information (PI) protection
Basic knowledge of privacy incident reporting and impact analysis
Cybersecurity fundamentals
Familiarity with Vulnerability and risk management
Basic programming or scripting skills
Academic background in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Networking, or other STEM disciplines.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, A+, Server+, or equivalent; ITIL Fundamentals preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
