About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Proactively work with Middle Market bankers and leadership to deliver industry-expertise and guidance to locally managed clients in order to develop and deepen relationships with clients and prospective clients.
Provide industry focused structuring and credit insights to ensure a common approach to credit across our clients in commercial banking.
Provide industry updates and transaction updates across the Middle Market to help generate new opportunities.
Coordinate with Corporate Banking and Middle Market product partners to ensure a free flow of ideas across the teams.
Maintain a pipeline of industry transactions within Middle Market with regular updates to the Corporate Banking Industry Head and Middle Market leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 7 or more years’ experience as a Relationship Manager on industry-specific teams in Corporate or Commercial Banking
5 or more years of successful track record of recommending and cross selling important banking services including Treasury Management, FX, Rates, and other fee-based business to meet client needs and improve bank profitability
3 years of more credit and structuring skills experience
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills sets
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel to attend client meetings and pitches
3 or more years' experience partnering with credit and risk colleagues
Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more years equivalent experience in accounting, finance or a related field
