Credit Analyst II

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and underwrite loans within the Regional Bank Business Loan Portfolio
- Provide thoughtful credit recommendations regarding borrowers within the loan portfolio
- Review and analyze complex, high dollar Financial Statements/Spreads Borrowing Bases, Covenant compliance, and Waiver requests
- Manage covenant/borrowing base violations as assigned
- Monitor the Upgrade and Downgrade process for the loan portfolio
- Assist management with monthly reporting to ensure compliance
- Coach and train peers regarding financial analysis, process, and credit policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years’ experience with business or commercial banking in a centralized lending environment
- Proven experience reviewing and analyzing financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business/Data Analytics (preferred)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
