About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of Portfolio Managers responsible for the management of the project finance credit portfolio.
Execute new deals supporting the group’s growth strategy.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Project Finance and Infrastructure.
Work closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk to drive profitable growth.
Conduct due diligence to identify risks and performance drivers.
Oversee transaction execution and mentoring of junior members.
Present findings to senior management and anticipate deal review questions.
Review financial models and propose structuring options.
Negotiate documentation provisions with stakeholders.
Lead documentation process and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields
7+ years of experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management in project finance lending environment.
MBA, CFA or equivalent experience in financial services, accounting, or legal fields is desirable.
15+ years of experience in credit underwriting or portfolio management in power, utilities, and infrastructure.
5+ years of previous leadership experience leading and coaching deal teams or junior bankers.
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and accurately assess complex information.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate complex ideas and structures succinctly to senior management.
