About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identifying needs, developing fundamental loan recommendations (including cross-sales)
Negotiating loan terms, approving/coordinating approval of loans
Portfolio risk monitoring and researching basic business issues
Administers PFG loan portfolio including following up on financial statements, exceptions, past due loans, changes in borrower’s financial condition, and loan reporting
Administers portfolio in compliance with Credit Policy including timely recognition for watch list, non-accrual, and charge-offs
Works closely with PFG Relationship Managers and other team members to satisfy customer's consumer and commercial loan needs including active participation in all sales of PFG loan products
Works with loans of moderate to high complexity
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience
Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience
Consumer Lending experience preferred
Personal Tax Cash Flow analysis training and experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask
MS Suite proficient and Internet proficiency
