About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Lead Business Systems Analyst works with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client’s unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support
  • Supports one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business
  • Serve as a project team member or team lead
  • Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis and documentation of future business requirements
  • Align IT resources and processes in order to meet the client organization’s needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of related experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related work
  • 2+ years of experience building data queries (preferred SQL)
  • Preferred experience with AML/BSA IT applications (Anti Money Laundering)
  • Ability to work within an Agile environment
  • Professional experience with Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts: assisting in creation of scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio
  • Demonstrable technical skills and ability to learn technology
  • Strong organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details
  • Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
