About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines
Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
Implement and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic)
Ensure system health, performance, and reliability
Enforce security best practices and conduct regular audits
Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC2 and ISO 27001
Work closely with engineering, QA, and stakeholders to support deployments and optimization
Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
Participate in on-call rotations
Lead root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
Build and manage Docker containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, Nomad)
Apply GitOps practices and develop automation scripts (Shell, Python, etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
5+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
