Business Development, Admin, Marketing VA – Accounting Software

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct outreach to accounting firms via email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Qualify leads and schedule product demos with potential clients
- Follow up with prospects after demos to maintain engagement and move deals forward
- Assist with CRM management, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Provide general administrative and basic support as needed
- Support basic marketing initiatives (e.g., email campaigns, content updates, or social media tasks)
- Collaborate with the team to improve outreach strategies and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales support, or a similar client-facing role
- Experience working with or selling software (SaaS), ideally within accounting or finance, is highly preferred
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in Xero, along with a strong understanding of accounting firm processes within the Australian context.
- Experience with CRM tools and basic marketing platforms is an advantage, familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Clandestine, and MailChimp would be considered a plus.
- Comfortable with outreach, lead generation, and follow-ups
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Willing and able to work Adelaide business hours
