About the role

Independently design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for various projects.
Size Domestic Hot Water (DHW) and Heating Hot Water (HHW) systems.
Support electrification projects and system upgrades.
Assist with tenancy fitout works, including redesigning AHU systems to accommodate new layouts.
Work on projects within existing buildings, coordinating staging and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and tender documentation using AutoCAD.
Perform heat load calculations using relevant software (Carrier E20-II knowledge preferred).
Write clear and concise technical reports.
Ensure all designs comply with NCC, AS1668.2, and where applicable, AS 3500 standards.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC systems.
Strong knowledge of DHW/HHW system sizing and electrification projects.
Experience with tenancy fitouts and redesign of AHU systems.
Ability to work on existing buildings and manage staging around functional systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting of mechanical schematics.
Experience with heat load calculation programs (Carrier E20-II preferred).
Strong report writing skills.
Familiarity with NCC and AS1668.2 (mandatory); AS 3500 (preferred).
Excellent problem-solving and independent working capabilities.
