About the role
- Own products (roadmap, development, vision) for restaurant facing software
- Translate business goals and user needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Conduct user research with restaurant operators, staff, and guests
- Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams
- Prioritize features based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility
- Analyze product performance using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Manage product launches and communicate progress to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role
- Entrepreneurial go getter personality
- Proven ability to ship customer-facing products used in real operational environments
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and agile product development
- Data-informed decision maker who balances analytics with qualitative insights
- Comfortable working with engineers on technical tradeoffs and constraints
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SaaS platforms serving SMBs or multi-location businesses (preferred)
- Familiarity with payments, ordering flows, or operational workflows (preferred)
- Background in marketplaces, logistics, or omni-channel commerce (preferred)
- Experience working in or closely with restaurants (bonus points if you’ve felt the dinner rush)
