About the role
- Responsible for supporting our junior staff (interns, apprentices, dual-study students and working students) at the Eisenach, Weida and Hilmersdorf (Erzg.) locations, based at the Weida site
- Conduct regular development discussions with junior staff and act as the primary contact at the sites
- Support the recruitment process, from marketing activities to hiring, in cooperation with the Head of Talent Acquisition and company management
- Assist department managers with employment contract correspondence
- Organize and conduct school visits, trade fairs and informational events
- Communicate and collaborate with external organizations such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), Chamber of Crafts (HWK), inter-company training centers, vocational schools and universities
- Further develop the junior staff program together with the Head of Apprenticeship/Training
- Provide organizational and administrative support to the Head of Talent Acquisition
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial (business) vocational training or equivalent qualification
- Further training as a Human Resources Specialist (Personalfachkaufmann) or comparable advanced training desirable
- Trainer qualification (AdA certificate / Ausbildereignungsprüfung)
- Professional experience as an HR Specialist with a focus on training or junior staff, or in a comparable position, desirable
- Basic knowledge of labor/employment law
- Confident, friendly and open demeanor
- Strong interest in young people and their professional development
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Time flexibility (including occasional weekend trade fairs)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
