About the role
- Support and supervise our junior staff (interns, apprentices, dual-study students and working students) at the Eisenach, Weida and Hilmersdorf (Erzg.) locations, based at the Weida site
- Conduct regular development discussions with junior staff and act as the designated contact person at the sites
- Support the recruitment process, from marketing measures to hiring, in collaboration with the Head of Recruitment and company management
- Assist department managers with employment contract correspondence
- Organize and conduct school visits, trade fairs and information events
- Communicate and collaborate with external bodies such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), Chamber of Crafts (HWK), inter-company training centers, vocational schools and universities
- Develop junior staff programs together with the Head of Apprenticeship/Training
- Provide organizational and administrative support to the Head of Recruitment
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or comparable qualification
- Further training as a certified HR specialist (Personalfachkaufmann) or equivalent desirable
- Trainer qualification (Ausbildereignung, AdA certificate)
- Professional experience as an HR advisor focusing on apprenticeship/training or junior staff, or in a comparable role desirable
- Basic knowledge of employment law
- Confident, friendly and approachable manner
- Strong interest in (young) people and their development
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Flexibility in working hours (including occasional weekend trade fairs)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
