About the role

  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Capture, analyze and assess customer needs and communicate them within the organization
  • Safeguard market share in the region
  • Acquire new customers
  • Proactively and independently acquire new customers in line with the agreed sales strategy
  • Reporting (including project and operational reviews) and revenue monitoring for the defined sales territory
  • Convey monthly meeting outcomes and relevant market information to the organization
  • Prepare and contribute to market and competitive analyses
  • Support campaigns and HUMMEL sales events
  • Negotiate prices and terms within established guidelines
  • Define and implement corrective actions in case of budget variances

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training (e.g., as an industrial clerk) and additional business administration training
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Technical understanding to explain the product portfolio
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Industry knowledge of Hummel AG’s key sales markets
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • German (C2)
  • English (B2 or better)
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Desirable experience: technical or product-specific additional qualification; knowledge of electrical connection technology; project management experience in a sales context; methodological competence in building and implementing a distribution network
