About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements for payment
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders
  • Uphold company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Insurance experience is a major plus
