Staff Accountant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements for payment
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting
- Support the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders
- Uphold company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Insurance experience is a major plus
