Network Engineer

• The Senior Network Engineer (Remote Solutions) is responsible for developing and evaluating remote site solutions throughout Humana and its subsidiaries.
• This role prepares analyses of short-term and long-term capacity requirements for switching, routing, transmission, and signaling.
• Conducting SDWAN network design and testing, as well as feasibility and cost studies.
• Develop standard solutions and establish the required sequence of network activities.
• Conduct evaluations to determine the impact on remote services.
• Participate in departmental strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to highly complex technical issues related to project components.
• Work performed independently, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
• Participation in on-call and implementation duties during nights and weekends, as needed.
• Deliver solutions for multi-platform network connectivity.
• Optimize all aspects of the remote network ecosystem, such as performance, resiliency, availability, resource utilization, and innovation.
• Provide cloud network design, engineering, and administrative support for both physical and virtual networking devices within multi-platform environments.
