About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture standards
  • Develop modernization roadmaps across payer, provider, pharmacy, clinical, corporate, and technology domains
  • Govern digital transformation initiatives
  • Partner with executive leadership, product teams, engineering organizations, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders
  • Lead software rationalization, technology domain strategy, application modernization, cloud transformation, platform standardization, operational resiliency, and cost optimization
  • Drive enterprise architecture strategy and modernization at scale
  • Enable scalable, secure, compliant, resilient, and efficient enterprise platforms
  • Report to an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture
  • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of progressive IT domain experience
  • 5+ years leading enterprise architecture initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders and large engineering organizations
  • Healthcare, payer, or provider enterprise architecture experience
  • TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or SAFe certifications
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools: LeanIX and ServiceNow APM
  • Must reside in close proximity to Louisville, KY; Washington, DC/Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; or Tampa, FL
  • Not eligible for work visa sponsorship
  • Dedicated work-from-home space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
  • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
