About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture standards
Develop modernization roadmaps across payer, provider, pharmacy, clinical, corporate, and technology domains
Govern digital transformation initiatives
Partner with executive leadership, product teams, engineering organizations, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders
Lead software rationalization, technology domain strategy, application modernization, cloud transformation, platform standardization, operational resiliency, and cost optimization
Drive enterprise architecture strategy and modernization at scale
Enable scalable, secure, compliant, resilient, and efficient enterprise platforms
Report to an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture
Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
12+ years of progressive IT domain experience
5+ years leading enterprise architecture initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments
Experience influencing executive stakeholders and large engineering organizations
Healthcare, payer, or provider enterprise architecture experience
TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or SAFe certifications
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks
Experience with enterprise architecture tools: LeanIX and ServiceNow APM
Must reside in close proximity to Louisville, KY; Washington, DC/Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; or Tampa, FL
Not eligible for work visa sponsorship
Dedicated work-from-home space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
