About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and communicate the vision for “Network as a Product” aligned with enterprise digital transformation goals
  • Build a multi-year roadmap covering connectivity, security, automation, and cloud adoption
  • Champion a platform mindset so network services are consumable, reliable, and measurable
  • Partner with CIOs, infrastructure architects, engineering and operations, application teams, and business units to understand needs
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into prioritized product features and services
  • Balance cost, speed, security, and scalability demands
  • Guide cross-functional teams in delivering product capabilities
  • Establish KPIs and SLAs for network services and ensure accountability for performance and customer satisfaction
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through retirement
  • Own business cases, financial models, and total cost of ownership for network products
  • Assist with vendor strategy and collaboration with major connectivity providers and SD-WAN partners
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement with Engineering leaders
  • Introduce automation, AI/ML, and observability into network services
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and pilot their applicability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of product management or IT service ownership experience, ideally in enterprise infrastructure
  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, cloud interconnects, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and firewalls
  • Proven ability to develop and execute roadmaps and strategies for large-scale, mission-critical platforms
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional delivery teams in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence executives and translate technical detail into business value
  • Experience in network modernization initiatives such as cloud connectivity, zero-trust, and SASE
  • Background in financial management of IT services, including chargeback/showback models
  • Familiarity with Agile practices in infrastructure product delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • MBA is preferred
