About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate with new Health Information Technology (HIT) vendors related to new clinical opportunities for Humana's PBM
Evaluate prospective HIT vendors related to strategic initiatives and new industry guidance
Coordinate contract execution with new HIT vendors with Humana's PBM
Help manage existing business relationships with external HIT partners
Drive enterprise alignment with cross-functional teams and execute operational transitions
Provide excellent service to customers dependent upon requirements
Work with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a team environment
Evaluate opportunities and oversee planning and execution of new vendor contracts related to PBM HIT initiatives
Collaborate with Humana enterprise leaders, HPS executive leaders, and external partners
Advise executives on functional strategies and matters of significance
Drive technology and process improvements for Humana's PBM

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
Knowledge of Waterfall development methodology
Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts
Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Ability to meet home internet requirements of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required
