About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate with new Health Information Technology (HIT) vendors related to new clinical opportunities for Humana's PBM
  • Evaluate prospective HIT vendors related to strategic initiatives and new industry guidance
  • Coordinate contract execution with new HIT vendors with Humana's PBM
  • Help manage existing business relationships with external HIT partners
  • Drive enterprise alignment with cross-functional teams and execute operational transitions
  • Provide excellent service to customers dependent upon requirements
  • Work with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in a team environment
  • Evaluate opportunities and oversee planning and execution of new vendor contracts related to PBM HIT initiatives
  • Collaborate with Humana enterprise leaders, HPS executive leaders, and external partners
  • Advise executives on functional strategies and matters of significance
  • Drive technology and process improvements for Humana's PBM

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of Waterfall development methodology
  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
  • Ability to meet home internet requirements of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required
