About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to administration of care management
  • Provide non-clinical support for assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements
  • Guide members and families toward appropriate care and well-being resources
  • Facilitate interaction with resources supporting member care and well-being
  • Work directly with state agencies to monitor member eligibility
  • Perform varied, moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer-support assignments
  • Perform computations
  • Receive and place calls on 50% inbound/outbound call lines
  • Interpret department policies and methods for completing assignments
  • Identify work expectations and quality standards within defined parameters
  • Prioritize and schedule assignments with minimal direction
  • Report to the CM Support Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Typing and computer navigation skills using multiple systems and platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve general technical difficulties in a remote environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
  • Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours
  • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
  • Self-provided internet service with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree
  • Preferred: Administrative support experience in a healthcare industry
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Preferred: Familiarity with care and well-being resources
  • Preferred: Bilingual English and Creole/Spanish, subject to language assessment criteria
