About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple high-profile, high-impact strategy projects
- Lead interviews and working sessions with Enterprise Growth leaders and leaders across the organization
- Lead teams conducting industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis
- Distill analytical insights for Humana
- Create high-quality analyses and deliverables framing objectives, issues, and challenges
- Articulate findings and recommendations
- Shape implementation considerations and transition analysis into execution with business owners
- Facilitate critical meetings and drive diverse groups to consensus
- Synthesize strategic choices across the Growth organization into a coherent plan to drive growth and profitability
- Collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, executive Management Team members, and corporate, functional, and business unit leaders
- Mentor and develop junior staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree with outstanding academic credentials
- 6–8+ years of full-time work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate/business unit strategy, or finance
- Strong record of leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to quickly build and maintain trust with business leaders
- Highly collaborative, flexible, teamwork-oriented working style
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- Strong commitment to personal and professional growth
- MBA, MPH, PhD, or graduate degree in a management field preferred
- Managed care and/or healthcare services work experience preferred
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet
- Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
