About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide architecture leadership for CenterWell Home Health programs and platforms
  • Shape conceptual and reference architectures and govern solution designs
  • Align delivery teams with cloud and data strategies
  • Lead architecture for CenterWell’s dispensing pharmacy portfolio across mail order, specialty, retail, and associated platforms
  • Own architectural vision for complex, multi-system initiatives
  • Conduct knowledge transfer with existing architects and stakeholders
  • Review initiatives and establish architectural roadmaps
  • Develop and refine reference architectures and design patterns
  • Validate designs against enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
  • Define integration strategies and solution blueprints for systems and data flows
  • Establish architecture review processes and decision forums
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture for Home Health initiatives
  • Author and maintain reference architectures for data platforms, clinical document NLP, RPA/automation, and interoperability
  • Lead architecture checkpoints and risk reviews and participate in ARB, TRB, and MOR governance forums
  • Convert conceptual designs into executable architectural runways and define measurable NFRs
  • Define integration contracts and domain boundaries for provider data, EMR, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data platforms
  • Ensure observability, data lineage, and data protection
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, EA Activation, security, data, operations, CenterWell leaders, and segment CIO teams
  • Communicate architecture decisions to executives and delivery teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or another specialized technology field
  • 5+ years of solution architecture experience with healthcare delivery or payer/provider ecosystems
  • Proven delivery experience in regulated environments involving HIPAA/PHI
  • Hands-on architecture across Azure services and Snowflake/Databricks
  • Experience with data lake and data platform patterns, data sharing, identity and access, and vault/secrets management
  • Demonstrated leadership producing reference architectures and governing solution designs across multiple teams
  • Strong competency in APIs, event-driven integration, security models, and non-functional requirements
  • Hands-on generative and agentic AI delivery on Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
  • Experience with Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, and Amazon Bedrock
  • Experience implementing RAG, fine-tuning, prompt/knowledge management, and secure data integrations
  • Ability to provide high-speed DSL or cable modem internet for a home office
  • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Satellite and wireless internet service is not allowed
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information
  • Preferred: clinical document NLP pipelines and automation/RPA in Home Health workflows
  • Preferred: familiarity with Home Healthcare conceptual architecture, operating models, and artifacts
  • Preferred: enterprise identity/access management flows and Azure group governance
  • Preferred: portfolio governance and activation forum experience
  • Agentic AI skills including planning, tool/function calling, memory and context management, multi-agent collaboration, human-in-the-loop workflows, safety guardrails, telemetry, reliability patterns, and tool ecosystem integration
