About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate the organization's social community through community advocacy programs
- Engage Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky enrollees and members of the general community
- Build visibility and credibility of Humana's products and services throughout the community
- Interact with community members through a variety of engagement activities
- Strategize methods to scale communities and drive greater connections among community members
- Engage new community members
- Work with professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards
- Perform field work at one or more non-Humana locations
- Travel 60–80% within a 50-mile radius of Northern Kentucky
- Work Monday–Friday between 8am–6pm Eastern Time, with flexibility based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in the Northern Kentucky region and within a 50-mile radius of Northern Kentucky
- Two or more years of professional human services experience, or recent service in the same role working in person with consumers conducting assessments and/or developing care plans
- Minimum one year of experience in community outreach and/or marketing and sales
- Community Health Worker Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience using a variety of electronic information applications/software programs
- Must complete tuberculosis screening if selected
- Valid state driver's license required
- Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
- Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Must be available Monday–Friday between 8am–6pm Eastern Time and flexible based on business needs
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Health related services
- Preferred: Spanish bilingual ability
- Preferred: Home Health experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of community health and social service agencies and additional community resources
