About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription offerings
  • Create face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits
  • Drive self-generated sales and meet performance goals
  • Expand Humana's market presence by becoming a valued community resource and building local relationships
  • Engage with prospective members in homes, community-based events, retail environments, organizations, volunteer work, and local events
  • Attend mandatory five-week training
  • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Health Insurance License required
  • Must reside in West Pasco or Hernando County
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes, community-based events, and local community settings
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits, or higher based on state requirements
  • Flexibility to work appointments and events on nights and weekends
  • Mandatory attendance during the first five weeks of employment
  • Preferred: Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
  • Preferred: Background in selling Medicare products
  • Preferred: Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups
  • Preferred: Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Must complete the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test if speaking with members in a language other than English
  • Home internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload for applicable home or hybrid employees
  • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
