Key responsibilities & impact

Support the month-end close process for multiple Medicaid plans
Prepare journal entries using data extracted from the data warehouse
Record, analyze, and report accounting transactions
Administer designated provider and vendor payment processes
Provide financial support through forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis
Present financial results, insights, and important variance explanations
Support State reporting requirements, audit inquiries, and market needs
Support IT-related projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a finance-related area
3 or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or as an IT programmer
Prior SQL or coding experience (preferred)
Health insurance or Medicaid experience (preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active pursuit of CPA certification (preferred)
