About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- coach, mentor, educate, motivate and train a team of sales individuals.
- cultivate, maintain, and build relationships with Humana’s customers, both internal and external business partners, along with the community through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions.
- develop marketing budgets, and look for branding opportunities.
- resolve operational problems and provide creative solutions to increase sales while following CMS guidelines.
- be out and about in the field in the Kentucky market working with your team and meeting members face to face.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside in the Louisville, Bowling Green or Owensboro KY area or be willing to relocate.
- Active Health Insurance license.
- 2+ years of Medicare sales or other related sales experience.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience leading a team of sales associates, training in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers.
- Strong aptitude for technology with proficiency in MS Office products, various CRM platforms, and various iPhone app capabilities.
- Background as a strong leader, strong producer.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt and overcome when necessary.
- Community Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans in the community.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
