Responsible for behavioral health care strategy and/or operations
Make determinations on requested services and level of care authorization
Conduct discussions with external physicians for additional clinical information
Support regional market priorities through collaboration with clinicians and community groups
Flow to work as needed for coverage during vacations, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy
Board-certified in ABMS or ABPN recognized specialty of Psychiatry
A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction
At least five years of experience post-training providing clinical services
Experience in utilization management review and case management in a health plan setting
No current sanction from Federal or State Governmental organizations.
