Key responsibilities & impact

provides operational leadership for build, maintenance, submission, and updating of formularies and drug lists
ensures accuracy of formularies and utilization management criteria in the Centralized Formulary System
collaborates with healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and other business functions to operationalize formularies
performs formulary analysis and reporting to ensure optimal operational flow
develops key performance indicators and plans to improve overall process improvements and efficiency
creates formulary management process and training documentation
understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives
makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
Less than 5 years of technical experience
Strong consultative skills and relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Prior demonstrated experience with process improvement or process design and implementation roles
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, Excel and Access
Ability to work on multiple projects
Ability to successfully handle change in a fast paced environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
