About the role
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana's operational processes
- Assist in driving the achievement of Humana's strategic and financial objectives
- Execute the audit plan and prepare reports for management
- Provide recommendations on process improvements and efficiencies
- Document detailed process walkthroughs and execute test plans
- Collaborate with internal audit team members to support company and team goals
- Perform testing of key controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year of experience in accounting, health insurance, or auditing
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing multiple or competing priorities
- Prior audit experience (e.g. creating audit work papers)
- Working towards certifications such as CPA, CIA, etc.
