About the role

  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana's operational processes
  • Assist in driving the achievement of Humana's strategic and financial objectives
  • Execute the audit plan and prepare reports for management
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements and efficiencies
  • Document detailed process walkthroughs and execute test plans
  • Collaborate with internal audit team members to support company and team goals
  • Perform testing of key controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of experience in accounting, health insurance, or auditing
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing multiple or competing priorities
  • Prior audit experience (e.g. creating audit work papers)
  • Working towards certifications such as CPA, CIA, etc.
