About the role
- Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate information for strategic and operational decisions
- Establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence
- Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends
- Ensure data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around data flow
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis
- Support the Primary Care business with a focus on IBNR (Incurred but not reported) and claims analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related field
- Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or higher
- At least three (3) years of healthcare actuarial experience
- Meet eligibility requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way
