💰 $59,300 - $80,900 per year

About the role

  • Identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create education plans tailored to each assigned provider
  • Arrange educational sessions with assigned providers aimed at quality of care and documentation improvements
  • Pull MRA reports, identify educational needs based on reports, and present information
  • Use data analytics tools to assess coding quality, identify error patterns, and monitor compliance with internal and external standards
  • Participate in teams to improve documentation, data integrity, and workflow processes
  • Build ongoing relationships with staff and providers teams
  • Conduct virtual education and/or provider onsite education, based on business needs
  • Collaborate with other market provider facing roles

Requirements

  • AHIMA or AAPC CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification
  • 4 or more years of medical coding experience
  • Risk Adjustment knowledge
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools (such as Excel, Power BI, or similar) and experience in interpreting large data sets
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • CRC -Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (Preferred)
  • Experience working with healthcare providers (Preferred)
  • Technical knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation (Preferred)
  • Experience with public speaking and presentation skills with healthcare providers (Preferred)
  • Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge (Preferred)
