About the role
- Serve as a strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide data governance initiatives
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Identify, assess, and monitor data-related risks across the enterprise; recommend and support mitigation strategies
- Oversee secure and compliant data sharing processes internally and externally
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and enforce data use guidelines
- Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory, compliance, and contractual data use restrictions
- Establish and maintain data stewardship and data owner accountability throughout the organization
- Monitor, report, and escalate material events or risks in accordance with the organization’s risk governance framework
- Support audit and regulatory examinations related to data governance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with data governance
- Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs
- Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights
- Experience with reporting and creating metrics for management
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
