About the role
- Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish
- Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
- Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
- Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project
- Develop project schedules, conduct meetings, and prepare reports to communicate project status
- Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project teams to meet targets and milestones
- Influence department's strategy
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding project components
- Apply internal processes and enforce project standards
- Interface with internal and external resources to ensure successful project completion
- Prepare presentations and communication materials on behalf of the project team
- Partner with operational teams to drive process improvement and identify/apply best practices
- Monitor and report on project progress and milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of project management experience
- Experience managing medium to large scale projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate competing priorities
- Ability to facilitate meetings with multiple participants of varying levels capturing relevant information
- Comfortable working on new projects with limited knowledge/expertise of the content and be able to learn quickly to effectively manage the implementation
- Proficiency in communicating effectively with project stakeholders up to and including senior level leadership
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- PMP or CAPM Certification (preferred)
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
