About the role
- Drive Data Governance activities across Business Segments
- Work with Business Owners to ensure assignment of Data Stewards
- Accountable for day-to-day Data Governance Operations oversight
- Guide enterprise stewardship needs for training, information sourcing; provisioning; consumption; standardization; and reporting & analytics
- Ensure data adheres to all business and enterprise standards and frameworks
- Develop & drive data quality management as a core component
- Establish clear, enterprise-wide standards for what constitutes "high-quality" data
- Drive the resolution of data, information and processing challenges
- Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate it in the data strategy
- Exercise discretion and judgment regarding matters of significance
- Lead cross-functional committee and Enterprise Data Governance Leadership council
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, data quality, data management concepts, principles and practices
- Ability to understand data models, data taxonomy, and a deep appreciation of data standards and data quality
- Strong leadership and organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflicts
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
