About the role
- Perform patient assessments and develop individual treatment plans
- Liaise with teachers, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Administer therapy and monitor progress
- Educate patients and families on speech disorders and available therapies
- Evaluate patient progress and implement changes to therapy programs as required
Requirements
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida
- CPR certification
- OSHA Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- HIPAA Certificate
- Alzheimer's Certificate
- Medical Errors Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
- Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
