About the role

  • Develop and enforce governance policies and standards across all deployment pipelines to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Drive the DevOps governance adoption, implementing controls to streamline the software delivery process and improve reliability
  • Establish and monitor DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards to provide visibility into KPIs and operational metrics
  • Champion a DevOps mindset, promoting agility, speed, and efficiency in the software delivery process
  • Explore and implement ways to deliver software faster, without compromising on quality or reliability
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with governance policies and best practices
  • Lead efforts to automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
  • Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Focus on key DevOps pillars, including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), quality, security, compliance, metrics, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements throughout the software delivery lifecycle
  • Use metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements and transparency within the DevOps function

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on governance, cloud infrastructure, and automation
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree
  • LLM model DevOps experience
  • API and AI gateway management experience
