About the role

  • Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
  • Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by becoming a valued resource in your community.
  • Engage with customers in the field through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions. Face-to-face visits in prospective members’ homes are a key part of this role.

Requirements

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
  • Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License (preferred).
  • Prior experience selling Medicare products (preferred).
  • Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups (preferred).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages (preferred).
