About the role

  • Lead and elevate the research function, guiding quantitative and qualitative teams on complex healthcare engagements.

  • Conduct, oversee, and mentor on a wide breadth of research approaches (concept tests, tracking studies, focus groups, ethnography, attitude and usage studies, voice of the customer, segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint (CBC and ACBC)).
  • Apply storytelling to translate insights into impactful deliverables that drive client action on complex quantitative engagements.
  • Independently develop moderately complex proposals (scoping, pricing, deliverables) and support business development; own accounts with growth targets (~$50-$200K for 2025).
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Account Strategy; mentor RM level on proposal development; generate additional business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Intermediate level knowledge in statistics and data analysis (descriptive statistics) required; advanced statistical skill (predictive modelling, multivariate statistics) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using SPSS or similar statistical software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze survey data, interpret survey results, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, One Note).
  • Healthcare (insurance) experience is a must.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative research expertise across methods (concept tests, tracking, focus groups, ethnography, attitude and usage studies, voice of the customer, segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint (CBC and ACBC)).
  • Experience mentoring and leading research teams and presenting to senior clients.
  • Ability to develop proposals including scoping, pricing, and deliverable creation.
  • Strong client-facing influencing and business development skills.
