About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead assigned Group Accounting areas throughout the monthly statutory reporting and close cycle.
- Own monthly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting pack preparation.
- Strengthen internal controls, enhance process documentation, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate Group audit activities, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors on Group consolidation and statutory reporting matters.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, and statutory reporting.
- Strong track record of managing financial close processes with excellent problem-solving and execution skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and consolidation tools.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
