About the role

  • Define and own global logistics category strategy and sourcing roadmap – Sea Freight, Warehousing , Road freight + 3PL.
  • Lead RFx processes, negotiations, and final supplier selection recommendations.
  • Approve contracting strategy, commercial terms, and risk‑mitigation frameworks.
  • Determine cost‑saving initiatives, competitive bidding, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Achievement of category cost targets (savings, avoidance, working capital improvements).
  • Supplier performance (OTIF, lead times, capacity reliability, digital capabilities).
  • Risk management across logistics lanes and suppliers.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years experience in global logistics procurement, transportation management (road, ocean, air, rail), warehousing & 3PL management and Supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex global suppliers.
  • Strong background in sourcing, contracting, procurement governance, and cost modelling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project execution skills.
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to convert business needs into category solutions.
