About the role

  • Lead analysis and documentation for AFS Vision conversion projects, including requirements gathering, story writing, and test case validation
  • Map data between legacy systems, AFS L3, and AFS Vision, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes
  • Validate conversions through data and financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Provide SQL support for ETL/data testing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
  • Work directly with line of business users to translate requirements into functional design
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively
  • Define and execute acceptance criteria for Unit Testing and UAT
  • Support legacy system replacement initiatives, monitoring enhancements, analytics improvements, and tool development
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on business analysis practices and banking domain knowledge
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with AFS (operational, BA, or tech support capacity)
  • Experience with conversion validation and reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with ACBS to AFS conversions, including mapping and ETL
  • Strong understanding of AFS L3 and AFS Vision data mapping and hierarchies (currents, futures, takedowns, obligations, process types)
  • Proficiency in SQL for validation and testing
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to run meetings and facilitate discussions across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • COBOL expertise (nice-to-have)
  • Financial Crimes/Financial Services knowledge (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with SDLC, project management support, and release management (nice-to-have)
  • Authorization to work in the United States (application question)
  • Comfortable working on W2 (application question)
