Requirements
Strong communicator: excellent presentation skills; able to sell ideas and give/receive feedback.
Management track record: you’ve led at least one designer as a direct report; mentorship experience (formal or informal) considered.
Iterative prototyping skills: proficient at using low and high fidelity prototyping tools and wireframing techniques, including modern AI-powered prototyping platforms.
A problem-solver: ability to think critically and holistically about user interactions and solve complex design challenges within technical, business and design constraints.
Organizational skills: assess the appropriate level of design and research necessary to achieve goals with a plan to reach final deliverables.
Technical proficiency: experience with modern component-based design software (e.g., Figma and Adobe Creative suite) and tools like Miro.
A robust portfolio: showcase a variety of projects that demonstrate expertise in UX design, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes and final design solutions.
Research and insights experience (nice-to-have): planned and conducted qualitative and quantitative user research and translated insights into product outcomes.
Sports enthusiast (nice-to-have): understanding of sports technology industry challenges and opportunities.
Growth mindset (nice-to-have): committed to staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and design best practices.
